Description
Bacteria capable of producing bio surfactants will be isolated from Northwestern Ontario. These will enhance the activity of hydrocarbon degrading microbes, promoting the degradation of hydrocarbons via bioremediation.
Expected Results
The purpose of IRAPs Youth Employment Program - Green is to assist in increasing the supply of highly qualified people, promoting the benefits of advanced studies, demonstrating federal leadership by investing in the skills required to meet the needs of the green economy and facilitating the transition of highly skilled young people to a rapidly changing labour market.
