Description

It is part of the international co-operation project for HIGH ENERGY SILICON BASED LITHIUM ION BATTERY between Springpower International, Inc (SPI) and Eve Energy Co., Ltd (EVE) under NRC-IRAP and GD S&T program. SPIs role is to develop and scale up silicon based composite anode materials, and EVEs role is to design, make, and test high energy lithium-ion batteries made of the above silicon based composite anode materials for Electric Vehicle market. This project proposal covers the activities taken by SPI only and the costs incurred from therein.

Expected Results

The Canadian International Innovation Program fosters and supports collaborative industrial research and development projects with high potential for commercialization between Canada and partner countries. It also stimulates bilateral science and technology networking and matchmaking activities to further new partnerships and accelerate the commercialization of research and development.
