To research, review and make production best practice recommendations for quinoa production and processing with the intent of reducing carbon credits through reduced inputs; improved harvesting practices for reduced transportation pollution and processing energy; higher nutritional value and energy per lb of crop yield for reduced carbon emissions per g of nutrient.

Expected Results

The purpose of IRAPs Youth Employment Program - Green is to assist in increasing the supply of highly qualified people, promoting the benefits of advanced studies, demonstrating federal leadership by investing in the skills required to meet the needs of the green economy and facilitating the transition of highly skilled young people to a rapidly changing labour market.
