Description

Project is to develop a system that identifies biomarkers to predict Alzheimer Disease, a few years before the actual symptoms of the Neurodegenerative Disease (NDD) are fully apparent. Machine Learning algorithms will be used on collected sensor data, recorded by ROVER, a wearable gait analysis device developed by Sensoplex. The algorithms compare walking motion data of patients who have been diagnosed with Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI) or Alzheimer Disease (AD) against healthy individuals of same age and gender to find digital biomarkers that separate healthy subjects form the patients with MCI or AD.
