Description

This green initiative grant will provide us funds to assist with the hiring of a highly skilled individual who is bilingual to assist with the training and educating of horticultural growers on the LinkGreen marketplace. The outcome of this investment will be that greenhouse and tree nursery growers will be able to participate more fully in offering and selling their finished materials through online wholesale opportunities, reaching new markets, and international markets more easily.

Expected Results

The purpose of IRAPs Youth Employment Program - Green is to assist in increasing the supply of highly qualified people, promoting the benefits of advanced studies, demonstrating federal leadership by investing in the skills required to meet the needs of the green economy and facilitating the transition of highly skilled young people to a rapidly changing labour market.
