Description

The implementation of automation into a facility/manufacturing plant lowers the consumption of energy by increasing efficiency of the process. This reduces the facilities carbon footprint. The new hire will help improve our automation productivity. We also plan to teach our new hires environmentally friendly methods for electrical, controls and robot design. The new hire will be trained in implementing engineering methods that result in modular design and technical applications that determine and identify resource efficiencies when applying engineering.

Expected Results

The purpose of IRAPs Youth Employment Program - Green is to assist in increasing the supply of highly qualified people, promoting the benefits of advanced studies, demonstrating federal leadership by investing in the skills required to meet the needs of the green economy and facilitating the transition of highly skilled young people to a rapidly changing labour market.
