Project Description
This project supports the sustainability of the biobank and laboratory (the ‘Facility’) provided by Canada to the Government of Sierra Leone. The project provides maintenance services for the Facility for two years.
Expected Results
The expected outcomes for this project include: (1) improved long-term sustainability of the biobank and laboratory; (2) enhanced readiness of Sierra Leone to prevent detect and respond to biological threats; and (3) reduced access to high-consequence biological materials by non-state actors.
