Project Description

In response to United Nations' Security Council Resolution 2250 this project supports the drafting and dissemination of a report on youth peace and security. The report aims to advance the United Nation’s Youth Peace and Security agenda internationally and engage young people in discussions of important peace and security issues and decision-making processes.

Expected Results

The expected outcomes for this project include: (1) enhanced engagement of young women men and youth-based civil society organizations in international peace and security discussions; (2) enhanced understanding by the international community of how conflicts differentially affect youth; and (3) enhanced international momentum around the further development and implementation of the Youth Peace and Security framework.
