Project Description
This project improves the social and economic living conditions of women and men in areas affected by extractive industry activity in Colombia. The project promotes the recovery of the rural economy in Colombia via three programming components: 1) strengthening the capacity of small-scale agricultural and forestry producers to increase production via extension activities and connection to value chains; 2) strengthening the management and business capacity of agricultural producer cooperatives and associations and; 3) supporting local stakeholders (including municipalities and the private sector) in revitalizing agricultural extension systems and improving the business enabling environment.
