Progress & Results Achieved
Results achieved as of March 2024 include: (1) completed construction and rehabilitation activities in targeted municipalities of Southern Jordan. This includes the Shobak Municipal Waste Transfer Station the hangar for the Material Recovery Facility and associated warehouse and 1 composting plant; (2) empowered women by increasing their control over resources and decision-making both at home and in society. Trained 114 individuals (88 women) from 4 community-based organizations in southern Jordan.
