Project Description
This project aims to strengthen sustainable biosafety and biosecurity in the Caribbean by implementing the Caribbean Public Health Agency’s regional laboratory strategy. Project activities include planning and delivering a stakeholder consultation to allow member states to provide input and indicate their level of support for and commitment to the integrated regional laboratory and surveillance strategy.
Expected Results
The expected outcomes of this project include: (1) strengthened health security and surveillance in the Caribbean; and (2) enhanced and increased communication collaboration and coordination between the Caribbean Public Health Agency member states for preparedness and response to biological threats.
