Project Description
This project enabled five personnel from Jordan who are responsible for the operation and maintenance of Canadian-funded biological laboratories in Jordan to travel to Canada to participate in Laboratory Biorisk Management Training delivered by the Canadian Science Centre for Human and Animal Health.
Expected Results
The expected outcomes for this project include: (1) enhanced safety and security of biological materials; and (2) strengthened response and coordination to potential biological events.
Progress & Results Achieved
Results achieved as of the end of this project (May 2015) include training delivered to five staff members responsible for the operation and maintenance of biological laboratories.
