Project Description

This project aims to support global disease threat surveillance aligning health security and law enforcement to prevent prepare for and respond to biological terrorism and other deliberate biological events. Project activities include integrating BlueDot Inc.’s disease surveillance technology into the work of INTERPOL’s Bioterrorism Prevention Unit.

Expected Results

The expected outcomes of this project include: (1) enhanced response by INTERPOL’s Bioterrorism Prevention Unit to international biological threats through the use of big data and advanced analytics; and (2) enhanced intelligence sharing amongst INTERPOL member states.
