Engaging Tomorrow’s Women Today

With Canada's support this project seeks to mobilize young and diverse women peacebuilders to increase youth engagement and dialogue in Israel and West Bank and Gaza. In parallel it aims to increase their leadership skills and participation in local and national peace and security initiatives. Project activities include: (1) launching a dialogue facilitator certification program; (2) implementing an advanced leadership initiative; and (3) starting the Gaza Girls mentoring program.

The expected outcomes for this project include: (1) increasing young women peacebuilders’ leadership skills and participation in local and national peace and security initiatives; (2) increased participation of young Israeli and Palestinian women in community peace processes; (3) increased capacity of women’s networks and communities of practice to engage with key male stakeholders in both regions; and (4) improved women-led community development and peacebuilding engagement in Gaza.
