Project Description

This project aims to support the participation of delegates from less developed countries (LDCs) in the 15th ministerial United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD 15) held virtually from October 4 to 7 2021.

Expected Results

The expected outcomes for this project include: (1) increased level of participation of attendees from LDCs; (2) increased capacity of these delegations to articulate their local perspectives through guaranteed internet connectivity; and (3) increased participation of women in decision making.

Progress & Results Achieved

Results achieved as of November 2022 include: (1) increased attendees’ participation level from 16 less developed countries through support to connectivity national events and communication; (2) successful participation of youth women and girls; (3) increased visibility of women panelists and decision-makers through gender-balanced panels.
