Project Description

This project aims to prevent the spread of COVID-19 rapidly detect COVID-19 cases and effectively respond to the pandemic to reduce morbidity in the country and help the country respond to the socio-economic disruption caused by the pandemic. This project supports the Government of Malawi’s National Covid-19 Preparedness and Response Plan through the Humanitarian Window of United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and Malawi’s Sustainable Development Goals Accelerated Fund.

Expected Results

The expected results of this project include: (1) the prevention of further spread of COVID-19 rapid detection of COVID-19 and effective response to the pandemic in Malawi; and (2) help Malawi respond to the socio-economic disruption caused by the pandemic.
