Project Description

The project seeks to advance governance and democratic accountability of the security sector in Ukraine. This project aims to provide short-term strategic technical assistance and capacity to distinct reform initiatives undertaken within the security sector institutions. Project activities include: (1) establishing reform initiative work and resource plans collaboratively with reform owners; (2) recruiting technical expertise; (3) designing and delivering gender-based analysis and results-based management tools and training; and (4) deploying technical expertise and assistance under partnership agreements with reform owners.

Expected Results

The expected outcomes for this project include: (1) improved planning coordination gender responsiveness and strategic analysis of security sector reforms; and (2) improved implementation of reforms delivered through the security sector in Ukraine.
