Project Description

This project through the procurement of non-lethal non-dual use equipment and materiel supports the Canadian Armed Forces’ military training and capacity-building mission in Ukraine Operation UNIFIER in training of Ukrainian Armed Forces personnel to protect the safety and security of its citizens. Project activities include: (1) providing training in explosive ordinance disposal and foundation-level training to Military Police; and (2) providing first-aid training to non-medical personnel.

Expected Results

The expected outcomes for this project include: (1) increased capacity of Ukrainian Armed Forces personnel to use de-mining equipment; (2) increased skills and knowledge of military police; and (3) increased medical skills and knowledge to use individual first aid kits.
