Project Description
This project aims to enhance public safety and improve stability in Ukraine by institutionalizing police training through the development of a sustainable police academy system.
Expected Results
The expected outcomes for this project include: (1) modernized gender-sensitive human resource and professional development structures to govern the police academy system; (2) enhanced leadership practices used by senior members of the Ukraine National Police; (3) well-trained recruits and specialized police units; and (4) improved police-community partnerships and public engagement efforts which generate greater public trust in police.
