Project Description

The project aims to provide training and tools to the municipal public sector and local private sector to improve the business environment for entrepreneurs and cooperatives and to enhance the capacity of women and young people to contribute to and benefit from the economy. The project offers technical assistance training and equipment to self-employed workers non-agricultural cooperatives and socially responsible businesses and help municipalities to identify and provide business services to the emerging private sector.

Expected Results

The expected outcomes for this project include: (1) strengthened systems and processes for local economic development and women’s participation; and (2) improved conditions for entrepreneurs in the local economy.
