Project Description
The project helps with the reconstruction of the Camerino and surrounding regions hit by the 2016-2017 earthquake in Italy including the construction of a portion of the University of Camerino campus. Project activity include: (1) the construction of a structure for residential purposes for University of Camerino students according to modern anti-seismic techniques and seismic resistant standards.
Expected Results
The expected outcome of the project include: (1) (re)building according to modern anti-seismic techniques offer spaces that can accommodate services to the community in easily reachable strategic locations; (2) (re)design socio-sanitary emergency cultural environmental and tourist services develop and support the economy training activities starting from a mapping of the existing what has been affected and help with the needs of the region; and (3) (re)new partnership with public institutions profit and non-profit sector new services to be implemented in an improved and innovative way focused on results.
Progress & Results Achieved
Results achieved at the end of the project (September 2020) include: (1) successfully completed construction of earthquake-resistant quarters at the University of Camerino; and (2) 43 university students (22 women and 23 men) used earthquake-resistant quarters at the University of Camerino.
