Project Description

The UN Peacebuilding Fund provides support in fragile and conflict affected states by delivering fast flexible and targeted programming to peace support and peace building initiatives. The PBF is an essential component of the enhanced UN architecture to provide a more sustained engagement in support of countries affected by conflict and instability and will support peacebuilding activities that directly contribute to stabilization and strengthening of state capacity national and local institutions and transitional or other authorities.

Expected Results

The expected intermediate result is improved functioning of the PBF along with improved stabilization in countries where PBF programming is delivered.
