March 2017 - Chad struggles with humanitarian emergencies related to food insecurity malnutrition and displacement. As a result 4.7 million people are in need of humanitarian assistance. Conflicts and insecurity have uprooted some 580 000 people internally and from neighbouring countries. With GAC’s support CARE addresses the urgent humanitarian needs of up to 34 000 people in the Lac Region.
