Project Description

This project aims to support the improvement of knowledge and skills that are needed to effectively support the Palestinian population. This project allows CIDA to respond to Palestinians’ needs by rapidly providing Canadian technical expertise. CIDA other Canadian government departments and agencies Palestinian Authority bodies and multilateral organizations are all involved in identifying the expertise needed.

Progress & Results Achieved

Results as of March 2011 include: A strategic planning initiative designed to strengthen the Ministry of Social Affairs' policy development capacity and programming delivery was completed. UNRWA's environmental management strategy is underway.
