Project Description

The Community Water Management in Nicaragua and Central America project implemented by the University of Calgary in partnership with the National Autonomous University of Nicaragua (UNAN) strengthens UNAN's research and teaching capacities in water management. UNAN graduate students in the M. Sc. Program in community water management receive practical training through their involvement in existing water and sanitation and watershed management projects. The project also strengthens water policy in Nicaragua and Central America through research teaching and curricula development in water policy.
