Project Description

The project seeks to provide potable water and to teach sanitation practices to villagers in a poor rural area of Lesotho. It also aims to strengthen the local partner's capacity to plan and work with local communities to develop a strategic plan and to train employees on program management. In order to reach its objectives the project is supporting the construction of 150 wells and the installation of manual pumps which provide clean water to more than 24 000 people.
