Community-Based Rehabilitation Project

The project aims to improve the living conditions of children with disabilities in poor communities in the provinces of Valverde and Espaillat and maximize their development potential by providing access to effective and affordable community-based rehabilitation and primary health care services. The project is also mobilizing and training families and communities to provide them with the knowledge and skills necessary to more effectively recognize and address the needs and rights of children with disabilities. The project is seeking to reach up to 500 children that have both physical and mental disabilities.
