Capacity Building of Social Organizations and Municipal Democratization

This project takes place in four municipalities (Tejutepeque Tenancingo Jutiapa and Cinquera) in the provinces of Cuscatlan and Cabanas two of the poorest provinces in El Salvador. Its aim is to strengthen the capacity of local organizations within these four municipalities to influence municipal decision-making concerning community development planning. To meet this aim this initiative provides training to representatives of community organizations leaders and municipal officials to strengthen their capacity to work together.
