Project Description

The project aims to increase community safety and reduce armed violence in the Caribbean region by building and sustaining the institutional capacity of the Women's Institute for Alternative Development in Trinidad and Tobago so that it may establish and then act as a Secretariat for a new regional civil society coalition called the Caribbean Coalition Against Violence. This is one of two parts of a project valued at $498 960. The first part has been completed.
