Priority needs for the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies' operations in Syria include basic medical supplies and related activities. The International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies is procuring medicines and other medical supplies and basic and emergency health care will also be supported through this grant.
Expected Results
Expected outputs include: up to 200 000 persons benefit from support to emergency and basic health care through the procurement of health related items and equipment (medical consumables and medicines); support to existing primary health care clinics providing access to basic health care for displaced people; and the capacity of Syrian Arab Red Crescent to meet the increasing medical needs as a result of the on-going crisis is increased. The expected intermediate outcome is reduced vulnerability of crisis-affected people especially women and children.
