Project Description
This grant is supporting the evaluation of the "Delivering as One" pilot initiative of the United Nations (UN) Development Group that is being undertaken in 2011. The "Delivering as One" initiative was launched in 2007 in order to improve the performance of the UN system at the country level. Eight countries have piloted the approach experimenting with ways to increase the UN system’s development impact through more coherent country-led programs as well as lower long-term overhead costs for the UN system. Canada has been an early supporter of the "Delivering as One" initiative and is its fourth largest donor.
