Evaluation of the Joint Organization Strategy- UNHCR 2009

Consistent with the Paris Declaration on Aid Effectiveness and the Principles and Good Practice of Humanitarian Donorship Canada Denmark and the UK (the donors) have agreed on a Joint Organisation Strategy (JOS) with the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR). At the end of the JOS period the donors and UNHCR agreed to jointly evaluate the performance of UNHCR. The purpose of the evaluation is to determine the extent to which it has delivered the objectives and desired impact outlined in this strategy and; review the harmonised approach taken to this strategy and share lessons-learned about the strengths and weaknesses of the approach.
