Project Description
This project aims to address the current critical gap in availability of vital and essential medicines in Zimbabwe. UNICEF coordinates a comprehensive response to Zimbabwe's medicine crisis procuring emergency vital medicines and working with the existing network of public health clinics and hospitals to reach the most vulnerable with treatment and care. The immediate beneficiaries are people living in the 60 rural districts of Zimbabwe as well as the urban communities that are currently unable to obtain basic medicines through the public health clinics.
