Water shortages affect health hygiene education and livelihood activities. Water sanitation and hygiene conditions are a challenge throughout the country but particularly so in southern Zimbabwe. In addition CARE supports the formation of community-based Water Management Committees in these areas and build community awareness on water handling hygiene practices and water.
