Project Description

The project is enhancing social psychological political and legal conditions for women victims of sexual violence in the context of war. Activities include: psychosocial legal and peer support for women survivors; multidisciplinary teamwork (i.e. linking judicial and mental health components); technical assistance to grassroots organizations of affected women; local and national public education campaigns; national and international exchanges; and engagement with the Inter-American System. The project has a multi-country approach carrying out tailored activities nationally and locally in Guatemala Peru and Colombia and at the Inter-American level.
