Project Description

This project aims to provide a more systematic way for the public sector to leverage private capital for development. Activities include: (1) creating a virtual finance for development exchange to increase awareness of development financing opportunities and to create new information and analysis; (2) creating an incubator to identify test and scale up public-private blended finance models; and (3) co-organising with Dalberg and the World Economic Forum national and regional events to support specific stakeholder groups.

Expected Results

The expected intermediate outcomes for this project include: (1) enhanced delivery of development financing to support social goods infrastructure and enterprises in developing countries; and (2) increased collaboration and alignment of capital by public private and philanthropic actors to support social goods infrastructure and enterprises in developing countries.
