Voluntary Contribution to the International Organisation of La Francophonie

This project provides funding to cooperation programs and activities undertaken by the International Organisation of La Francophonie (IOF). This program promotes Canadian interests and is consistent with Canada’s political and economic objectives for the Francophonie.

The IOF performs with care skill diligence efficiency and until their completion the activities of its four-year program under the priorities and guiding principles set out in the following areas: the promotion of the French language and cultural and linguistic diversity; the promotion of peace democracy and human rights support for education training; higher education; research on development of cooperation for sustainable development and solidarity.
