Project Description

The project's main goal is to support national institutions responsible for the implementation of a participatory constitution-making process. To achieve this goal the project contributes to strengthening the national leadership and the management structures conducting the constitution-making process from consultations to drafting of the constitution text. It supports public education about constitutional issues outreach meetings collecting the people's views country-wide and impartial engagement of the media. The initiative fosters the participation of civil society the private sector and academia. It promotes a transparent and inclusive process responsive to citizens' views.
