The ultimate outcome of the program for learning on Gender and Conflict in Africa (LOGiCA) is the integration of issues related to the specific needs of young ex-combatants and child soldiers in the implementation of activities related to demobilization and reintegration (D & R) in the Great Lakes region. Taking into account the special situation and needs of women girls and vulnerable groups (child soldiers) in the context of conflict and post-conflict is to be integrated effectively to ensure equitable access to benefits and delivery operations of D & R. In addition to the component-based program management and its trust fund the project is divided into three components: technical assistance and supervision of regional demobilization and reintegration; program for vulnerable groups; knowledge awareness and communication production.
