Strengthening Capacities in the Education Sector

The goal of this project is to help improve the performance of Canadian assistance for education in Senegal and to achieve significant results in education. The project aims to support the Government of Senegal in implementing its national education and training plan. Canadian education and management specialists will help the Ministry of Education strengthen its capacity in the areas of planning monitoring and evaluation. Activities will include training on results-based management and the budgetary cycle. This project makes Canadian education and management specialists available to the education sector in Senegal. These specialists help to build the planning monitoring and evaluation capacities of the Ministry of Education through the National Education and Training Support Program . The project helps to improve the medium- and long-term performance of Canadian assistance to education in Senegal and to achieve significant results in education.
