The program aims at improving aid effectiveness and aid coordination for poverty reduction and achievement of Cambodia's Millennium Development Goals.
Progress & Results Achieved
Results as of the end of the project (December 2010) include: The overall capacities of the Cambodian Rehabilitation and Development Board (CRDB) at the Council for Development of Cambodia to lead development partnerships develop and implement policies and monitor mutual accountability such as the Joint Monitoring Indicators (JMIs) have increased. For example the JMIs were improved to be more results-focused and to include aid management priorities relevant to each ministry or sector and the CRDB established a technical working group network for peer review and experience sharing. The CRDB successfully organized Cambodia Development Cooperation Forums; completed the 2008 Aid Effectiveness Report the National Framework for Promoting Development Results and the 2008 Paris Declaration Survey and country chapter; and extended support to technical working groups within related Ministries. In addition a number of information systems have been developed and implemented such as a customized aid database. These systems are being used to improve the standardization of data collection through a single data platform across all Ministries.
