Progress & Results Achieved
Results achieved as of the end of the project include: 13 water systems (out of 12) were completed and are operational benefiting more than 20 000 people (more than expected). Other results include: 146 latrines (70 more than planned) 200 gray water pits and 1 271 improved stoves (out of 900 planned) were built. Key gender equality achievements include launching the Women’s Plumber Certification Program (certifying 28 women) and rolling out three municipal gender strategies.
