Knowledge Sharing Advisor

The focus of this assignment is to contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of Canadian Official Development Assistance (ODA) through the provision of knowledge sharing facilitation and training support for programmes of the Central and West Africa Division. The assignment involves supporting the implementation of knowledge sharing tools and techniques and co-designing and co-facilitating learning events workshops regional and country retreats in collaboration with the Strategic Programming and Operational Management team at headquarters. The cooperant also assists with determining needs and developing an action plan for providing training support in the region. The cooperant ensures that gender sensitive materials are included in the training modules. The position is under the supervision of the Director for Strategic Planning and Operations for Central and West Africa.
