Project Description

The Canada Fund for Local Initiatives (CFLI) is designed to support small projects proposed and implemented by local organizations in India. In providing funding for small projects that offer direct social economic or technical assistance to local populations the CFLI contributes to the overall goal of reducing proverty. The specific objective of this CFLI is to promote community-based development and equality between women and men. The main organizations eligible for funding are community-based and non-governmental organizations.
