Project Description
The Scholarship Fund for Palestinian Women assists women from Palestinian refugee communities in Lebanon pursue undergraduate university degrees and develop their professional and management skills in such fields as business engineering biology and science. After completing their studies in Lebanon it is expected that these women become income-earners and play an increased leadership role in the Palestinian community. It is expected that they can then contribute to the development of the community's capacity to manage and sustain itself. More than 200 students have been awarded scholarships since 2000.

The remaining 14% are either working full or part-time in an unrelated field not seeking employment or did not respond to the tracer study.
