Project Description

The Power of Equality project aims to strengthen the power (empowerment) of educators and human rights defenders to advance gender equality promote and protect women's rights globally and in Kenya especially. To ensure that their human rights education and advocacy initiatives are relevant and effective in the local contexts where they must be implemented the project aims to increase their leadership in the promotion and protection of women's rights and gender equality.

Expected Results

The expected outcomes for this project include: (1) enhanced performance of educators and human rights defenders to promote and protect women's rights and gender equality globally; and (2) increased leadership of educators and human rights defenders to promote and protect women's rights and gender equality.
