Project Description
This project aims to enhance the employability and entrepreneurship of women youth persons with disabilities and refugees in Lebanon. The project aims to improve the skills and opportunities of at least 2 160 beneficiaries to support their economic participation. It seeks to improve the capacity of TVET institutions programs and curricula to be more aligned with labour market and gender-specific needs while also improving the job readiness of jobseekers and strengthening the capacity of entrepreneurs and micro small and medium enterprises to establish or grow their businesses.
Expected Results
The expected outcomes of this project include: (1) enhanced effectiveness of TVET institutions to be market-responsive and meet the gender-sensitive needs of project beneficiaries; and (2) increased engagement in economic activities for at least 2 160 vulnerable individuals (60% women 45% youth 30% refugees and 20% people with disabilities) across Lebanon.
