Project Description
The project aims to address school dropout and support unemployed youth aged 16 to 29 by delivering training programmes on life skills and personal development literacy financial management entrepreneurship and resilience building focusing on household food availability and affordability. The project aims to build resiliency sense of responsibility and empowerment within youth so they can become role models for young people and contribute to their community.
Expected Results
The expected outcomes for this project include: 1) Improved anger management self-esteem and interpersonal relationships; 2) reduced gambling among male participants; 3) enhanced literacy skills; 50% of school dropouts re-enroll in academic programs; 4) increased youth awareness about food security challenges adoption of local food production practices and basic business skills; 5) decreased food costs enhanced food self-sufficiency and reduced wastage through food preservation practices.
