October 2024 – The complex emergencies and ongoing crises in Afghanistan and Lebanon severely worsened humanitarian conditions increasing health and protection services needs. In Afghanistan years of conflict economic collapse displacement and climate-related disasters created urgent and sustained needs across the country. Similarly in Lebanon ongoing conflict and displacement significantly disrupted livelihoods and undermined essential services delivery leaving vulnerable populations in desperate need of support. Project activities include: (1) providing emergency health assistance; (2) providing technical and material support to health care systems; (3) promoting health hygiene and nutrition; and (4) providing protection services.
