Project Description
The project aims to enhance economic participation and resilience of women entrepreneurs in a greener economy in Burkina Faso. Project activities include: (1) increasing performance and sustainability of women-owned micro small and medium sized enterprises (MSMEs); and (2) improving policy legal and regulatory environment for women entrepreneurs’ effective participation.
Expected Results
The expected outcomes of this project include: (1) supported 8 women-led small and medium enterprises (SMEs) with loans; and (2) supported 2 micro finance institutions (MFI) in Burkina Faso in issuing loans to some 2 000 women and their microbusinesses.
